MILITARY SPECIFICATION SEMITRAILER, LOWBED, 15 TON,

4 WHEEL, PATRIOT, M974 SERIES

This specification is approved for use by US Army Tank-Automotive Command, Department of the Army, and is available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.

1.   SCOPE

1.1  Scope.  This specification covers a four-wheel, low-bed semitrailer with a maximum payload capacity of 30,000 pounds (lbs) for use as equipment transporter in the Air Defense System, Guided Missile, PATRIOT.

1.2  Classification.  Semitrailer shall be of the following models as specified (see 6.2).
