4.5.4 Inspection comparison test. The Government may select vehicles at any time during the production period, and subject
vehicle(s) to tests specified in table IV. Tests shall be conducted by the Government at a site selected or approved by the Government.
4.5.4.1 Test failure. Failure of any vehicle
tested under paragraph 4.5.4 to comply with any of
indicated on the vehicle preservation data sheets furnished by the procuring activity (see 6.2).
6• NOTES
6•1 Intended use. Trailers, covered by this specification, are intended to be used by the Armed Services as indicated in table VIII.

provided by the manufacturer that corrective action has been taken by the manufacturer to eliminate the conditions which caused rejection.
4.6 Preservation, packaging, and vehicle processing. Preservation and packaging of vehicle and equipment shall be inspected prior to shipment to assure conformance with the applicable requirements specified in section 5 of this specification.
5• PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY
5•1 Vehicle processing. Vehicle shall be processed for shipment and storage in accordance with Standard MIL-STD-281 to the extent
6•2 Ordering data. Procurement documents
should specify the following:
(a) Title, number and date of this specification.
(b) Model of vehicle to be furnished (see 1.2).
(c) Information to be shown on data plates
(see 3.8).
(d) Level of preservation and packaging, and
vehicle preparation for shipment and storage data sheet, or implementing instructions, to indicate requirements of Standard MIL-STD-281 that apply to the vehicle being procured
(see 5.1).
