MIL-S-62183 Semitrailers, Tank: Waste And Sludge Acid, 3,000 To 5,000 Gallon, Modified CommercialThis specification covers two types and three sizes of modified commercial tank semitrailers for collecting, transporting and discharging waste, sludge acids and corrosive liquids weighing up to 13 pounds per gallon. Tank semitrailers procured for this specification are commercial items which are warranted by the manufacturer as specified in acquisition documents.

6.3  Definitions.

6.3.1  Improved road.  An improved road is smooth, hard surface road, such as a concrete or asphalt paved highway.

6.3.2   Unimproved road.  An unimproved road is an unpaved unstabilized road with an undulating surface having occasional chuckholes and exposed rocks.
