MILITARY SPECIFICATION SEMITRAILERS, DUMP, COMMERCIAL, GENERAL SPECIFICATION FOR
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the
Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers various sizes of rear dump semitrailers. The dump semitrailers are operated by the truck-tractor's hydraulic system, unless the self-contained engine driven hydraulic system option is required.
1.2 Classification. The semitrailers shall be of the following sizes, as specified (see 6.2):
