DETAIL SPECIFICATION
SEMITRAILER, VAN: ELECTRONIC, TACTICAL, 6-TON, 2 WHEEL, M373A2
This specification is approved for use by the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments
Command, Department of the Army, and is available for use by all Departments and
Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers the M373A2 van semitrailer, which is a 6-ton,
tactical, 2-wheel, van-type semitrailer having an interior length of 30 feet (ft). The semitrailer is
primarily used to transport and house electronic processing equipment over all types of roads and
limited cross-country terrain and under extreme climatic conditions. These mobile shelters are
also used as maintenance shops and command posts (see 6.1).
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 General. The documents listed in this section are specified in sections 3 and 4 of this
specification. This section does not include documents in other sections of this specification or
recommended for additional information or as examples. While every effort has been made to
ensure the completeness of this list, document users are cautioned that they must meet all
specified requirements documents cited in sections 3 and 4 of this specification, whether or not
